Meghan is a Law Clerk who supports the firm’s attorneys with various aspects of case preparation, including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and assisting with trial-related tasks.

Ms. Cogan graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.  During law school, she gained legal experience in the lower courts as well as Appellate matters.

While at Touro, Ma. Cogan was a member of the Honors Program and served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Moot Court Honors Board of Advocates. She was a semi-finalist in the 41st Annual John S. Bainbridge Moot Court Competition and was awarded Best Oral Advocate.

Upon graduation, Ms. Cogan received several distinctions, including the Award for Exemplary Contributions to the Quality of Student Life, the Award for Exemplary Dedication and Service to the Law Center, and a Pro Bono Service Award for her outstanding work in the Bankruptcy Clinic.
