DISMISSAL FOR OB/GYN

Following the submission of a summary judgment motion on behalf of an obstetrician/gynecologist and his medical practice, attorney Julio J. Vasquez was able to obtain a discontinuance of the action against our clients in March 2022. The case involved a 42 year old female who claimed negligent performance of a partial hysterectomy in that the physician failed to remove foreign objects (Weck Clips) prior to surgical closure resulting in the clips attaching to the plaintiff’s bladder causing pelvic pain and frequent urination.
